What is the Gacha OC x Art Style Contest?

GL2 is a popular role-playing game that allows players to create and customize their characters. The OC x Art Style Contest allows players to show their creativity. Participants are required to draw their Gacha Life 2 OC in their unique art style, incorporating the GL2 chibi character into the artwork.”

Contest Rules and Guidelines:

Before you start your art, make sure to understand the contest rules to make your entry valid:

  • Draw Your GL2 OC: Your artwork should be in your unique art style.
  • Include the GL2 Chibi Character: Add the GL2 Chibi character in your artwork, showing interaction or posing together.
  • Character Limit: Your artwork can have 1-4 characters.
  • Entry Limit: You can send up to three entries.
  • Canvas Size: No limits on the canvas size.
  • Theme: Choose any theme that matches your artistic vision.
  • Editing Allowed: While the GL2 OC should be made in the game, you can edit your artwork and add effects but don’t redraw the GL2 chibi.
  • Collaboration: You can work with a friend, but remember, the prize will be divided.

Note: Submit only your original artwork; using AI art, tracing, stealing, or commissioning is not permitted. Violation may lead to a contest ban.

60+ Winners:

If your artwork is featured in Gacha Life 2, you will get $100 via Paypal (or alternatives), and you can attach 2 links (like Youtube or Pixiv) to your featured art in the game.

250+ Runner-ups:

If you are a runner-up, your art will be showcased in the Discord community, and you will gain access to the Star channels.

How to Enter the Contest and Key Dates

  • Submission Period: October 31st, 2023 – November 25th, 2023.
  • Where to Submit: Upload your artwork in the specified Discord channel (Note: There is a 6-hour cooldown between submissions).
  • Selection Process: The GL2 Admins/Moderators will choose the winners, who will be announced a few days after the contest concludes.
